Mary Elizabeth Castleberry Davis, age 82 of Cunningham passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at her residence. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin Brooks and Rev. Bob Hargrove officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, 2014 and 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Louise United Methodist Church Cemetery.
She was born September 10, 1931, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Homer and Hattie Hayes Castleberry. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Davis and brother, Billy Castleberry.
She is survived by children, Bobby (Janice) Davis, Steve (Vicky) Davis, Ronnie (Carol) Davis; daughter, Patty Gail (Randy) Davis; brother, Cecil (Robbie) Castleberry; sisters, Emily Cleo Wynn, Louise Steinheimer; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Nephews and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
