Marvin Johns

A graveside service for Marvin Russell Johns, age 90, will be Friday, June 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM at  Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery where military honors will be rendered. Marvin was born on July 30, 1932 to Harry and Alice Johns in Ronan, Montana. He passed away on November 15, 2022.

Marvin loved painting, reading the Bible, and being involved in Bible Study Fellowship. In his younger days, he loved spending time outdoors with his children fishing and camping. Marvin was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family and friends meant the world to him. Marvin became a Christian just prior to marrying his wife and loved the Lord with all his heart. His family finds peace in knowing that he is resting in the arms of Jesus and has no more pain.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Alice Scruggs and brother, Glen Johns. He is survived by his wife, of 61 years, Sandra Johns; children, Richard (Sandy) Johns, Randal (Christine) Johns, and Deborah (Thomas) Kuhn; and grandchildren, Jared Johns, Alex Johns, Samuel Kuhn, and Nora Kuhn.
