Martha Elrod

Funeral service for Martha Lucille Elrod, age 81 of Palmyra, will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Louise Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Martha passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville. She was born on October 19, 1934 in Dickson County, TN to Clyde and Lillie Davis. Martha retired from driving a bus for the Clarksville Montgomery County School System after numerous years of employment. She was a lifetime member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers; Edward, Carl, Roy, Charles, and Johnny Davis, and one great grandchild, Bentley Calhoun.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Earl Elrod, sons, Kenny (Marlena) Elrod, and Terry (Pam) Elrod, daughter, Sandra Calhoun, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
