A Celebration of Life service for Mark Avery Andrews, age 92 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Madison Street United Methodist Church. Mark passed away on Tuesday, Jul 03, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born in Brockton, MA to Lyman and Margaret Andrews. Mark served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 30 years as an electrical engineer with the New England Telephone and Telegraph, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, as well as a man of deep faith. He was a member of Madison Street UMC and reflected and lived his Christian values. He enjoyed reading, gardening, playing Scrabble, speaking French, and whistling hymns and other tunes. Always upbeat, he had a positive outlook and a calm demeanor. " A true gentleman!" In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Lyman Jr., and his sister Carolyn. Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years Colleen Harris Andrews, sister Isabel Hart, daughter Laura Andrews, son Stephen Andrews (Michelle), son David Andrews(Kathy), and daughter Janice Hanrahan, as well as 6 grandchildren; Sarah Andrews, Kaitlin Andrews, Ryan Andrews, Josh Andrews Nicole Hanrahan, and Jackie Hanrahan.
