Marion Johnson

A Celebration of Life service for Marion Francis Johnson, age 83, of Clarksville, TN, will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Ted Denny will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Sango Cemetery alongside her late husband, Edward Ray Johnson. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Marion was born on June 27, 1939, in Clarksville, TN. She was a staple in the restaurant business in Clarksville. You could find her in her earlier years working at Kelly's and the White House Dairy Freeze before hanging up her apron at Ribs & Burgers. Marion loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and shopping.

In addition to her husband of 65 years, Marion is preceded in death by her mother, Francis Seay; sons, Edward Ray Johnson, Jr. and David "Bubba" Johnson, and brother, James Seay. Marion is survived by her daughters-in-law, Debbie Johnson and Jennifer Johnson; siblings: Tommy Seay, Louise Quarles, and Sue (Fernando) Williams; grandchildren, Kelsey (Kreigh) Bourff and Shelby Johnson; and great grandchildren, Harper Ray Bourff and Beckett Edward Bourff.

Pallbearers will be Fernando Williams, Kreigh Bourff, Joey Dallas, Mike Jerles, Jr Wade, and Randy Hunt.
