Marie Spurlock Wooten, age 84 of Clarksville passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Grace Healthcare of Clarksville. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Creasy officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2014 and 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Monday, December 1, 2014. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Wooten was born in Robertson County, TN on January 23, 1930 to the late C.B. and Janie Wilson Spurlock.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Millard "Slim" Wooten; daughters, Elaine Blick, Debbie Barbour; grandchildren, Justin Barbour, Devin Barbour, Melinda Liberatore and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brenden Rudd, Scott Liberatore, Lowell Shock, Raymond Shock, Jackie Carter and Joe Williams.
