Margie Camille Taylor Walker, 89, passed away April 2, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center. There will be a Graveside Service at 2:00 p.m on Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, with Pastor Stuart Salyer officiating. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walker was born March 19, 1922 in Rocky Mount, NC, daughter of the late Alfred Moses Taylor and the late Gertrude Arena Hall Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Buel Charles Walker.
She was an Accounting Officer, and member of Christ United Methodist Church in Norfolk, VA. She is survived by her daughter Janis (George) Walker Greene, grandson Stephan Michael Greene, great grandchildren Hunter Michael Greene and Zachary Scott Hawkins.
