Margie Rachel Harris

A Celebration of Life service for Margie "Rachel" Harris, age 90, of Clarksville, TN, will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Bro. Rodney Leetham will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Walter Harris. The family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again Saturday from 12:30 PM until the time of service. 

Rachel was born on February 26, 1933 in Montgomery County to Roy and Lottie Heflin. She was a beautician and retired after working for 60 years and a member of Oakwood Church of Christ. Rachel enjoyed crocheting, reading, working puzzles, and going out to eat. 

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Imogene Baggett and Linda Long. She is survived by her children, Wade (Paula) Harris and Renee (Nick) Harrington; grandchildren: Walter (Jessie) Harrington, Ben Webb, Haley (Matthew) Jordan, Grant Harris, and Monica Moran; and great grandchildren: Hank Harrington, Gilly Harrington, Jack Harrington, and Eleanor Jordan.
