Margaret Louise Grant Smith, age 86, of Clarksville passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Spring Meadows. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Sykes Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Robinson officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am until hour of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was born July 12, 1925 to the late Louis and Ruby Scruggs Grant. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Wade Smith; son, Terry Smith; grandson, Michael Jo Smith; daughter-in-law, Betty Johnson Smith; and sisters, Dorothy Grant Kennedy and Sarah Grant Arms.
She is survived by her sons; Bobby Smith, and Douglas (Alice Kay) Smith, both of Southside, TN; 5 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Brothers, Lewis Jr. (Margaret) Grant of Southside, TN., Bennie (Ida) Grant and Rodney (Bev) Grant, both of Garnder, IL; 2 Sisters, Gladys Baggett of Cumberland Furnace, TN and Becky (Marlin) Raddatz of New Lenox, IL.
Brandon Smith, Michael Suitor, Mack Smith, Tylor Smith, Wade Smith, John W. Smith will serve as Pallbearers.
