Mabel Martin Moore McKinney, age 93, of Woodlawn passed away March 30, 2011 at Spring Meadows Health Care Center. Funeral service will be Saturday April 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carolyn Nobling and Rev. Byron Dumas officiating. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Central Chapel UMC Cemetery in Dotsonville. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. McKinney was born March 3, 1918 in Dotsonville, TN, daughter of the late Thomas Rosie Moore and Tennie Martin Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Edward McKinney, her three sisters, Helen Pressler, Barbara Gambill and Margaret Buckner.
She was employed by Boling Harrison and Lee_
