Graveside service for M. Irene Carpenter will be Saturday April 16, 2016 at 12:00 NOON at Zion Cemetery in Obion County, TN. M. Irene age 98, of Clarksville passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born on September 1, 1917 in Obion County to Wade and Luedith Nettles. She was a long term volunteer of the Methodist Hospital Service League in Peoria, Illinois. She was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Peoria.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Carpenter.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Daum, sons; Arthur and Robert Carpenter, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
