Luva E. Faulkner, 83, Clarksville, died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. William Ballard officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Faulkner was born June 2, 1926 in Trout, WV. Her parents were Simon and Anna Lewis. She is preceded in death by her husband Junior A. Faulkner.
She was a retired Dietician from Clarksville Memorial Hospital, and attended Temple Baptist Church.
She was the loving mother of Emerson (Ann) Williams, of Richmond, VA, Thomas (Gail) Faulkner of Clarksville, Anna Tate, Memphis, Brenda (Ronnie) Norris, Richmond, VA, and Beckie (Preston) Reeves of Clarksville. Her loving cousins were Hayward Lewis, Frank Lewis, Gloria McQuire and Darrel Lewis. She has seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wendell McElroy, David McElroy, Barry McElroy, Teddy Biggar, Aaron Rye and John Giannamore. www.sykesfuneralhome.com
