After years of decline, Lucille Suiter Baggett was called home June 9, 2011 at the age of 82.  Lucille ws preceded in death by her parents Charles R. (Reppie) Suiter and Hattie Mary Rye Suiter; her husband of over fifty years, Clay Baggett, Jr; her youngest daughter, Connie (Bill) Pendergrass, and her only sibling Janet Suiter Carlson.  Sykes Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Wesley officiating.  Visitation will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening and 1:00 p.m. until hour of service on Sunday at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be  in Antioch UMC Cemetery.
Lucille is survived by her daughter Carol (Gary) Atkins; grandchildren Leslie Atkins, and Kent (Deana) Atkins; great grandsons, Zackary Mooneyhan and Barrett Atkins, along with two beloved nieces and beloved nephews.  She is also survived by the daughter of her heart, Pat Rye Martin.
Lucille led a Christian life all of her time on this earth and was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church.  She was a devoted wife, a loving and nurturing mother, and she acted as a nurse and caregiver for several terminally ill family members.  She was always ready for a picnic or a fishing jaunt or to spend time with her children.
