Louis Powell "L.P." Baggett, age 89, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Spring Meadows. A celebration of L.P.'s life will be 11:00 am Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marv Buchholz officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and again on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of service.
Mr. Baggett was born September 19, 1924 in Oak Grove, KY to the late Albert Baggett and Emma Yarbrough Baggett. He was a retired machinist from State Industries and a member of Crossland Avenue Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Ann Baggett; daughter, Virginia (David) Cunningham, of Clarksville and niece, Joyce Ziegler, MI.
