Funeral service for Lonnie Augusta Wheeler, age 84 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Nov 29, 2012 at 10:00 am at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Nov 28, 2012 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, Nov 29,from 9:00 am until the time of service.
Ms. Wheeler passed away on Sunday, Nov 25, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. She was born on Jul 10, 1928 in Clarksville, TN to the late Jess William Smith and Lonnie Ann Smith. She was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her Sons, Terry (Debby) Wheeler of Peachtree City, GA; Son, Larry (Trish) Wheeler of Port Charlotte, FL; Nieces, Sharon Magaro of Enola, PA & Donna Rider of Clarksville; Grandchildren, Tina (John)Reeves, Kirt Wheeler, Lindsey Wheeler; Great-Grandchildren, Hayley Byard & Maygan Reeves.
Pallbearers will be nephews; Jimmy, Tommy, Danny and Bobby Byard, Great Nephews, Chad and Dwight Byard.
