Lois Davenport Emery Sutherland, age 80, of Clarksville, went home to be with the Lord and reunited with the love of her life and favorite dancing partner on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Signature Health Care of Clarksville. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3

, 2013 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Davenport and Rev. Russell Brune officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in the Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill, TN.
She was born September 18, 1932 in McMinnville, TN to the late James Harold and Mollie Enos Davenport. She later moved to Indianapolis, IN whre she live the majority of her life. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lyndle Lee Sutherland; daughter, Mollie Bea Sutherland; siblings, James Harold "Buck" Davenport, Winslow Davenport, Syble Flynn, Jeanie Harvey, Carolyn Miller.
She was a Retail Stock Clerk for various Retail Businesses and a member of New Vision Outreach in Chapel Hill, TN.
She is survived by children, William Russell "Bill" (Debbie) Emery, Dale Wayne "Red" (Michele) Emery, Georgia Ann (John) Dossey, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Emery, Dale Emery, John Dossey, Jubal Emery, Hunter Emery and Matt Maloney.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
