Lois Peacher Suiter, age 92 of Clarksville, TN, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 19, 2014 in a facility near her daughter in Alabama after fighting a long battle with Alzheimer's. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born July 22, 1922 to the late Ott and Goldie Peacher. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lawrence Suiter; sister Mildred Brawley and a brother, Roy Peacher.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Suiter Hays, son-in-law, Robert Hays; grand-daughter, Lacy Melvin (Jeff) and two grandsons, Michael and Matthew Melvin as well a many beloved nieces and nephews. She was a longtime member of Forest Street United Methodist Church where she once served as church secretary and was a member of many committees and was involved in other functions.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers
