Linda Sue (Trotter) Newberry, 67, Cunningham, died Sunday, December 19, 2010, at Gateway Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.Harriet Bryan Harris officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Newberry was born January 7, 1943 in Montgomery County, daughter of the late William Garner and Mary Eliza Bumpus Trotter.
She retired as a Registered Nurse from Gateway Medical Center, and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband Marshall W. Newberry, her son Marshall Scott (Katarine) Newberry, Clarksville and daughter Jennifer Suzanne Newberry of Cunningham. She has two brothers David (Janice) Trotter and Dicky (Treasa)Trotter of Cunningham, and sisters Betty (Jim) Griffin, Centerville, Barbara (Robert) Young, Dickson, Judy (David) Newberry of Cunningham and seven grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Progressive Directions, Inc. which works with special needs adults, at 1249 Paradise Hill Road, Clarksville, TN. 37040
