Linda Byard

A Celebration of Life service for Linda Faye Blackwell Byard, 74, of Southside, TN, will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home with Pastor Haley Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and again on Tuesday at 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

Linda was born on January 13, 1947 in Montgomery County to Sterlin and Margaret Gibbs Blackwell who preceded her in death. Linda passed away on December 10, 2021.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Janice Blackwell. She is survived by her children: Beverly Head, Ronnie Byard, and Rhonda Wolfe; siblings: Cerelle Baggett, Bill (Debbie) Blackwell, and Steve (Anna) Blackwell; grandchildren: Audrey Pickerill, Hayley Byard, Ryan Wolfe, and Gracie Byard; and great-grandchildren: Kinley Byard, Finnick Pickerill, and Cameron Beall.

Linda was a member of the Forest Street United Methodist Church. She held a daycare service from her home for many years. She spent her time quilting and swimming. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, sports, and spending time with family.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wolfe, Eric Blackwell, Chris Blackwell, David Baggett, Brandon Blackwell, Hunter Blackwell, Josh Baggett, and David Anderson.
