Funeral service for Lillian Irene Dyer, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, Feb 28, 2013 at 12:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Rev. John Thomas McDaniel Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery in Springfield. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 27, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday, February 28th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home.
Lillian passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Nov 19, 1935 in Springfield, TN to Lawrence Henry Benton and Ruby Jewel Beadles Benton. She was retired with over 40 years as a nurse, for Memorial Hosptial, Cheatham Medical Center and Baptist Hom Health. She attended Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Bryan Morgan Dyer and sisters, Ida Mae Dorris and Elsie Manning
She is survived by her Son, Keith (Maggie) Dyer; Daughter, Cathy Lynn (Brian Smith) Dyer; Sister, Bessie Chrisman; Grandchildren, Rebecca (Maurice) Howard, Amy Johnson, Jennifer (J.G.) Vinson and Connie Reynolds; Great Grandchildren, Chloe Dyer, Tobias Dyer, Alex Reynolds, Spencer Reynolds, Freedom Dyer and Kimora Howard.
