Funeral service for Elizabeth "Libby" F. Spears, age 69 of Gallatin, will be Saturday, September 02, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Victory Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Timothy Binion will officiate. Burial will follow in Eulia Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, September 02, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Victory Missionary Baptist Church.
Libby passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Skyline Medical Center. She was born on October 27, 1947 in Davidson County, TN to Leslie and Mable Burton.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Burton.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eugene "Gene" Spears, daughter, Regina (Ty) Adams of Florida, son, Gregory (Kesha) Spears of Gallatin, daughter, Rachel (Barney) Peeper of Oklahoma, brother, Jerry Burton, thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
