Lester York

Lester Eugene York, 80, of Clarksville, passed away March 6, 2018, at Signature Healthcare. A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, March 9th, 2018 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. A Masonic Service will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home.
Mr. York was born on March 16, 1937 in Clarksville, TN to the late Henry and Vera York.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Parker York.
He was retired from Trane and enjoyed his many business ventures throughout the years. His greatest joy was doting on his cherished wife of 35 years, Dot, and their grandchildren. Lester was a member of Masonic Lodge 402.
Survivors include son, Paul Parker,  Clarksville, Tn; Daughter, Shirley Moore, Wetumpka, AL; son, Larry (Carol) Parker, Daleville, AL;  Five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.
