Memorial services for Laverne "Myrnie" Nicholson Corbin, age 77 of Clarksville, will be Friday, Sep 04, 2015 at 12:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Arrington will officiate, with entombment immediately following services at Resthaven Memorial Gradens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, Sep 04, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home.

Myrnie passed away on Wednesday, Aug 26, 2015 at Tri Star Ashland City Medical Center.  She was born on Jun 17, 1938 in Cheatham County, TN to the late DM "Buster" and Blanche Nicholson.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Warren Corbin, who she was married to for 55 years.  Warren was the "love of her life".  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Nicholson.

Myrnie graduated from Clarksville High School in 1956, where she met her husband while he was stationed at Ft. Campbell.  After they married they lived in Miami, FL for 37 years until Warren retired from the Dade County Police Department. They moved to Tennessee to be with her family.  She was a loving person and  wonderful sister.

She is survived by her two sisters; Donna (Hicks) Allen of Chapmansboro and Doris (Ed) Hinkle of Clarksville, nieces; Cheryl Logan, Jill Scott, Diane Street, nephews; Dwight Nicholson, Bryan Allen, Brian Hinkle, Chad and Mike Kaufmann, great nieces; Jennifer Scott, Kaycee Logan, Lauren and Brittany Street, Emily Richmeier, Hannah and Rylee Hinkle, great nephews; Cole Nicholson and Allen Scott, great-great niece and nephew; Brayden Wilkerson and Khloe Logan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
