Funeral services for Laura Bell Green, age 92 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, Sept 23, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, Sept 22, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Saturday, Sept 23, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM at Memorial Baptist Church.
Laura passed away on Monday, Sept 18, 2017 at The Waters of Cheatham. She was born on Feb 12, 1925 in Decatur, AL to Joe and Nellie Pearl Johnson. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Clifton Green, 2 children, Betty Carolyn Krantz and Joe Gary Green, 1 great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Timothy (Dana) O'Neal, Brenda (Dale) Ray, Glenda (Gary) Duncan, Cindy (Jason) Miller; sisters, Virginia Hearne, Murle Pennington, Dorothy Ann Reed; brother, James Earnest Murrah; 11 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
