Larry Teasley age 70, passed away on July 9, 2016. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July, 14, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends the same day from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. He was born on November 11, 1945 in Nashville, TN to Paul Teasley and Azilee Ragan Jackson. He enlisted in the United Stated Navy where he served two tours in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart and numerous other medals.
Paul was a loving husband, father, brother, and dedicated American who served his country for 26 years as a SeaBee Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Upon retirement he continued to serve his country as a Department of Defense Environmental Director for 18 more years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kyoko Teasley, daughters; Elizabeth (Steven) Jones and Carrie (Dustin) Wood, sister, Beverly (Thomas) Jackson, grandchildren; Dillon and Cooper Wood, Michael and Justin Jones, and Kalene Kingery, and great grandson, Landon Beck.
