Larry Martin "Marty" Ford, age 60, of Indian Mound passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his cabin. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Port Royal United Methodist Church, 2947 Hwy 76 with Rev. Harold King officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
He was born on October 15, 1953 in Clarksville to the late Joseph B. and Mary Haley Ford. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald Ford, Jerry Ford, Wendell Ford, John Ford, Michael Ford and sister, Peggy Ford Thompson.
He was retired from Civil Service and had served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by brother, Steve (Karen) Ford of Indian Mound; sisters, Judy Ford of Nashville, Dianne (Harold) King of Nashville, Sharon (Lloyd) Fish of Elizabethtown, KY and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital, 2200 Children's Way, Nashville, TN 37232.
