Funeral service for Lanette Alta Simon, age 80 of Palmyra, will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00am at Bethel Baptist Church. Dr. Ted Denny will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery . The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the church, and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church.
Lanette passed away on Friday, Nov 04, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born on Sep 14, 1936 in Orville, CA to Charles and Alta Wolfe. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved shopping and bowling.
She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Jimmy Simon, daughter, Patty (Robert) Eads, sons; Jimmy (Sheila) Simon, Gary (Leesa) Simon, Charles Simon, David (Christina) Simon, brother, Charles Wolfe, and sister, Alma Neusbaumer, 14 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
