L. D. Love - 1935 L. D. Love, 73, Clarksville, died Saturday, September 5, 2009, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. Ward Carver officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Love was born in Clayton, GA on October 6, 1935 to the late Charlie and Flora Ann Carver Love. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Williams Love; brothers, Glen Love, Travis Love, Ralph Love, William Love and Tommy Love. He was retired from Civil Service. He is survived by daughters, Deborah (Dennis) Hobbs of Germantown, TN, Lesa (Roger) Matheny of Palmyra, TN, Tina (Freddie) Caheely of LaFayette, GA; brothers, Claude Love of Hickory, NC, Raymond Love and Jerry Love both of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, Chris Hobbs, Michelle Hobbs, Justin Caheely, Kathryn Matheny, Rachel Matheny; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hobbs, and Conner Hobbs.
