Kenya Elliott

Funeral service for Kenya "Coonie" Elliott, age 45 of Clarksville, will be Saturday, Jul 14, 2018 at 10:30 AM . Charles W. Radford will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Friday, Jul 13, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home  and Saturday, Jul 14, 2018 from 9:30 AM until the time of service at Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church.

Coonie  passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jul 09, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on Jul 04, 1973 in Montgomery County, TN to Charlene Suggs Houk and Clarence Elliott.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Francie Elliott, who has loved him for 23 years, his daughters; Alicia, Tianna, and Laniah, siblings; Phiwo (Tina) Suggs, Will "Mann" Thomas, and Nikki (Ron) Hudson, step fathers Will "Billy" Thomas and Todd Houk, and step mother Beverly Guynn, maternal grandparents Charles (Ann) Suggs and Ruby Suggs.

Coonie has worked with TDOT for 23 years, and is a member of Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father, son, uncle, brother, and friend. He loved fishing and hunting in is spare time. Above all he was a good servant of the Lord.
