On February 17, 2018; Kenneth Wayne Robinson, 79, began his next journey in life by leaving this one behind. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on January 9th,1939; to loving parents Kenneth W. and Ruth Robinson.
Ken spent 31 years in the Army traveling the globe in service of his country and while he seldom spoke of it, received two bronze stars for valor and heroism during his tour in Vietnam. Kenneth Wayne retired as a CW4 and settled in Clarksville, Tennessee. Here he continued with his passion for family, church and learning new and varied skills; from gunsmithing to construction trades.
Ken applied his quiet and patient style of mentoring to his work as an NRA firearms instructor. Here he found great fulfillment in introducing those unfamiliar with firearms to the joy of shooting and the importance of the second amendment.
Ken dedicated his life to serving others, loving his family, his country and his puppies. Kenneth Wayne or “Robbie” as many of us knew him, humbly asked for a private, no fuss approach to his passing. Out of respect, we fulfill his wish. It was an honor to know him, a privilege to share our lives with him and a blessing to have had the chance to love him.
Kenneth Wayne is survived by his three children Eric Robinson and wife Chris Robinson, Michelle Robinson Raysor and husband BJ Raysor and Mark Robinson and wife Gisela Robinson; along with his granddaughter Shelbi Lea Andrews and husband Jordan Andrews and his great grandson Shepherd. Ken is also survived by his sister Ruth Ann Sayre.
