Funeral service for Kenneth Ira Greene Jr., age 75 of Dickson, will be Monday, October 31, 2016 at First Baptist Church Conference Center in Dickson, TN at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Middle TN State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at First Baptist Conference Center in Dickson, TN and again on Monday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Kenneth passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born on March 09, 1941 in Bellefonte, PA to Kenneth Ira Green, Sr. and Mary Louise Green. He was a lifetime member of Logan Fire Company in Bellefonte, PA, a member of the American Legion and the NRA. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a retired tool design engineer, and was a premier substitute teacher at DCHS.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Donna Rae (Tanner) Greene.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Green, son, Kenneth Michael (Kristella) Greene, daughters, Stephanie Carol Greene, and Stacey Joan (Lynn) Spann, brother, Randy Nevin (Deborah) Greene, sisters; Cheryl (Kermit) Spotts, Lola Thompson, Holly (Bruce) Keen, four grandchildren; Todd, Caleb, Caitlin and Lexi and two great-grandchildren.
The family requests that all attending mourners wear patriotic attire.
