SFC (Ret.) Keith Eugene Leighton, age 75, of Clarksville passed away Friday, November 02, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Graveside Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with Mr. Richard Stanley officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Sykes Funeral Home.
He was born January 23, 1937 in Columbia, Maine to the late Edwin M. and Katherine Dickens Leighton. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Lucille Leighton. He was retired from the US Army having served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anna Theresia Leighton; sons, Dale (Deborah) Leighton, David (Pamela) Leighton; daughter, Dianna Leighton-Moore; grandchildren, Melissa Leighton, Andrew Jordan Moore, Matthew Leighton and 3 great-grandchildren.
Military Honor Guard will serve as Pallbearers.
