Judy Marlane Sinks

A Celebration of Life service for Judy Marlane Sinks, age 79, of Cumberland Furnace, TN, will be Monday, August 28, 2023 at 12:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rye's Chapel Cemetery. Benton Jackson will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Judy was born on September 2, 1943 in Cheatham County, TN to Baxter and Becky Christy. She passed away on August 24, 2023. Judy loved her family, gardening, and taking care of her chickens.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bubba" Christy and sisters, Janie Ogle and Linda Joyce Christy. Judy is survived by her husband, Howard Sinks; sons, Mike (Donna) Sinks and Glendon Sinks; sister, Sandra Hollis; grandchildren: Michael Sinks, Clay Sinks, and Rachael Sinks; and great-grandchildren, Colton Herald and Kyleigh Sinks.
