Beloved by all, Judy K Mackens of Clarksville, TN, passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on April 28, 1951, to Herbert Mackens and Lola (Conatser) Mackens in Detroit, Michigan. She loved everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Lola (Conatser) Mackens; brothers: Herbert O. Mackens, David Mackens, Dewey Mackens, Warren Mackens, and Ralf E. Mackens (not to be confused with cousin, Ralph Mackens who is still alive). She is survived by Herbert's wife Judy, David's wife Sharon, Warren's wife Wava, Ralf's wife Bonnie and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Judy worked as a stockbroker at Mannely Bennett in Detroit, Michigan and then worked in Arizona until she became handicapped. Judy has suffered with destructive Rheumatoid Arthritis since childhood, but was not diagnosed until later on in life. She has suffered greatly, but always had a smile and always was kind and funny. Judy was a great human being, an example to all. Even though Judy was handicapped she made beautiful, crocheted afghans and baby clothes and a lot of other crocheted items, which she gave away never sold them.
She will be cremated and at a later date, have a funeral in Michigan and be buried next to her parents.
Judy's belief in God kept her alive this long. Judy, fly away to your family in heaven and enjoy your family reunion. You have earned your wings my friend, my sister-in-law (my sister). You will be greatly missed by all.
Please visit Judy's online guestbook at www.sykesfuneralhome.com and share a memory with the family.
