CW3 (Ret.) John Vincent Teyhen Jr., age 79 of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Grace Healthcare. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. No services are planned. An Inurnment will take place at a later date at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Mr. Teyhen was born February 17, 1935 in Queens County, NY to the late John Vincent Teyhen Sr. and Lucille Ann Wolkovich Teyhen. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Yayoi Inoue Teyhen; brothers, Daniel Teyhen, James Teyhen; sisters, Maltilda Clemente and Lucille Teyhen.
He was retired from the US Army and served three tours in Vietnam where he received 2 Bronze Star Medals. He was also owner of Gate 1 Flea Market until its closure.
He is survived by son, John Vincent (Deydre Smyth) Teyhen III; daughter, Patrica Ann Lockard; brother, Joseph Longo; brother-in-law, Fred Clemente of NJ; Ms. Nancy Bumpus, of Clarksville.
