John N. Talley, Jr., age 68, of Southside, TN passed away September 23, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A celebration of John's life will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 4:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 pm until the hour of service.
Mr. Talley was born November 2, 1944 to the late John N. Talley Sr. and Lillian Kirby Talley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Sherri Weakley; granddaughter, Melissa Swaw Grissom; brothers Howard Talley and Wendall Talley.
John is survived by his wife Patricia Baisdon Talley; sister, Joyce Talley (James) Boner; daughter, Tammy (Joe) Hatfield; son-in-law, Gary Weakley; grandchildren, David (LaShauna) Talley, Sammy (Sarah Helton) Talley; great-grandchildren, Lilian Talley, John-David Talley, Orion Lysikatos, Katelyn Traylor, Robert-Derek Grissom, Laila Talley and Taylor Talley.
