George William Greene, Jr., age 67 of Clarksville passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23, 2014.
He was born in Richmond, VA on July 14, 1946 to the late George William and Annie Ruby Revelle Greene. He was retired from the US Army and Probation and Parole with the State of Tennessee. He was a member of First Baptist Church, VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Janis Walker Greene; son, Stephan Michael Greene; grandson/son, Hunter Micheal Greene, grandson, Zachary Scott Hawkins and granddaughter, Audrie Joanna Lynn Hyatt.
