"Jay" Morris Jerrell Fulgham, Jr., 45, Anchorage, Alaska, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010, at his home. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Joseph Reynolds officiating. Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fulgham was born November 12, 1965 in Union, Mississippi, the only child of Morris J. Fulgham, Sr. and Edna V. Boykin Fulgham. Mr. Fulgham was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; James and Pearl Boykin, paternal grandparents; Merle and Louise Fulgham, uncle; Bo Boykin and aunt; Allene Contrares. Jay was a welder and of the baptist faith, he loved the outdoors, wildlife and fishing. In addition to his parents Morris and Edna Fulgham of Clarksville, Jay is survived by uncles; Jimmy Fulgham, Starkville, MS, Gary Fulgham, Spartanburg, SC, William Norman, Tupelo, MS, aunts; Shirley Fulgham, Tupelo, MS, Shirley Higgenbotham, Lebanon, TN, Rebecca and Charles Pannell, Macon, MS, and John Boykin, Modesto, CA, many cousins, his friend and fishing buddy; Craig Weber, and many friends in Anchorage. Pallbearers will be John Blackwell, Dennis Oaks, Mike Higggenbotham, Tim Higgenbotham, John David Higgenbotham and Spencer Embry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Pannell and William Norman.
