Billy Dean Carter, Jr., age 43 of Paris, TN lost his battle to lung cancer Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Clarksville, TN. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday at the Funeral Home.
He was born in Henry County, TN on September 27, 1970 to the late Billy Dean Carter and Eva Carter.
He loved spending time with his family. Dean was kid at heart. He enjoyed racing cars, teaching and mentoring his children. He taught them how to ride dirt bikes and live off the land. Whether hunting or fishing or just being outdoors, he took pleasure in sharing with others. He was a very sensitive and compassionate man. He knew how to bring out the best in all. He will be dearly missed but his legacy will live on.
He is survived by his mother, Eva Carter (Ron) Dix; wife, Scarlett Carter; daughter, Jamie (Corey) Carter Dales; son, Billy Dean Carter, III; sister, Retha Burns; brothers, Eddie Forrest, Timothy Forrest, Randy Carter, Ronnie Carter; and grandson, Corey Todd Dales, Jr.
