Josephine Halliburton

Josephine O’Neal Halliburton, age 90 of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at her residence.  Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.  A memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Madison Street United Methodist Church Chapel.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until the hour of service in the Chapel.
She was born December 31, 1921 in Clarksville to the late Spencer and Clara Bell Smith Smith.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Halliburton, Jr.; son, Bob Halliburton and sister, Wesley O’Neal Bourne.  She worked for Department of Human Services and was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Madison Street United Methodist Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Country Women’s Club.
She is survived by son, John Halliburton; daughter, Ann (Robert) Thompson; grandchildren, Lynne Halliburton-Yarbrough, Ann-Marie Pittenger, Johnny H. Halliburton; great-grandchildren, Jacob Allen Yarbrough and Eloise Halliburton.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chip Woodard, Kent Halliburton, Ronnie Hunter, Frank Myers, Bruce Gore,  Bruce Tate, Ed Tate, Sonny Woodard and Lionel Senseney.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Madison Street United Methodist Church or to Fieldstone Place.
