Joseph Lutz, Jr.

A Celebration of Life service for Joseph William Lutz, age 79 of Clarksville, will be Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the hour of service. Joseph passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at his residence. He was born on October 22, 1939 in Curwensville, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Rose Marie Marafini Lutz. He was a 14 year veteran in the United States Navy and later became a communications officer in the C.I.A where he was awarded a Gold Star for bravery. Joe enjoyed talking to people on his Ham-Radio under the handle W7LPF, playing golf, darts, bowling, and traveling the world.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Alice Lutz; son Joseph Lutz III; daughters: Maggie Rose Lutz, Cecely Anderson, and Marina Lutz; and 5 grandchildren.
