Joe Chisenhall, Sr., age 72 of Clarksville, TN passed away peacefully, after an extended illness Monday, June 24, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until the hour of service.
Joe was born March 1, 1941 in Clarksville, TN to the late Dock and Viola Chisenhall. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Treasurer for many years. He was retired after 24 years from the Zinc Plant.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Cheryl Delpapa and brother Carl Chisenhall.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Nancy Bridges Chisenhall; children Tina (Kevin) Chisenhall Dozier, Joseph "Joey" (Eve)Chisenhall, Jr., Rodney (Libby) Crabtree, Cathy Van Brunt, Diana Lynn (Richard) Moore, Belita Chisenhall and Tamatha Chisenhall; brother, James (Jean) Chisenhall; sisters, Betty Lorene Mohan and Virginia (Carl) Masters and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
