Joseph L. Blanzy, age 53 of Dickson passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at his residence. Mid-South Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy, 1002 Claylick Road, White Bluff, TN with Pastor Gary Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. till the hour of service at the church.
He was born September 10, 1959 in Pontiac, MI to the late Gerard Blanzy and the late Patricia Owen Blanzy Carter. He was also preceded in death by son, Samuel D. Blanzy; daughter, Lindsey J. Blanzy and a brother, John Blanzy.
He was employed in the Janitorial business and a member of the Crossroads Church of God of Prophecy.
He is survived by wife, Joanne McCormick Blanzy; son, Caleb J. Blanzy; daughter, Victoria "Tori" Blanzy; sisters, Geraldine Blanzy, Linda (Jim) Jones, Barbara Haiss, Teresa (Robert) Campbell and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
