John Wayne Potter, age 54, of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
The Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnnie Collins officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home and 11:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Cumberland Heights.
John was born December 23, 1960 in Clarksville to the late Edward "Otis" Potter and Rubye Gaither Potter. He was a cabler at Bridgestone Metalpha.
He is survived by his mother, Rubye Gaither Potter; sons, Johnathon R. Potter, Austin R. Potter; daughter, Shanna (Justin) Harris; brother, Timmy (Sabrina) Potter; grandchildren, Ashton Harris and Erica Vincent.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
