John Harrison

A Celebration of Life service for John Junior Harrison, age 86, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Geoffrey Sikes will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

John was born on August 16, 1936 in Dover, TN, to John W. and Lou Nettie Harrison. He passed away on November 22, 2022. John was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Trane as a General Foreman Supervisor for 10 years. Most recently, he owned and operated Red River Equipment Sales where he enjoyed his customers until he retired. He was a member of the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing and enjoyed watching old westerns and football.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his first wife, Monique Harrison; daughter, Celina Summers; and siblings: G.L. Harrison, Geneva Travis, and Margie Parker. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Faye Harrison; son, Stan (Melissa) Harrison; siblings: Earl (Elise) Harrison, Linda Horton, Ronnie "Bo" (Brenda) Harrison, Melva Staley, and Sandra Jones; grandchildren: Audra Stamps, Meredith Blind, and Justin Harrison; 10 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
