John Ammon

A Celebration of Life for John Bernard Ammon, 93, of Clarksville, will be Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest beside his wife, June Ammon at Sango Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the time of service. John passed away on June 23, 2021. He was born on March 15, 1928 in Cincinatti, OH to Theodore and Rose Bosch Ammon.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He loved spending time with his family and friends, golfing, and traveling.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Theodore Ammon and Helen Martin. John is survived by his children: Douglas (Meg) Ammon, Mark (Carol) Ammon, and Lynne (Phil) Montague; grandchildren: Allison Montague, Katherine and Lauren Ammon, Mackenzie (Christian) Rowe, Maddie Montague, and Eric Ryder; and great- grandchild, Raynen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
