Joel `Joe` Sanders Seay, 51, Clarksville, died Friday, October 23, 2009, at Fieldstone Place.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home with Rev. David Fambrough and Rev. Larry King officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 12:00 Noon until hour of service Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home.
The remains are to be cremated.
Joel was born in Clarksville, TN on November 11, 1957 to the late Robert E. Seay and Martha Sanders Seay. He was also preceded in death by brother, John Seay; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles E. and Marian Green Poole and brother-in-law, Edward Wayne Hollis.
Joel was employed by the Sara Lee Baking Group and was a member of the former Cumberland Drive Baptist Church.
Other than his mother, Martha Sanders Seay, he is survived by wife, Sheila Poole Seay; son, Derrick E. Seay of Nashville; brother, Rodney (Jan) Seay of Russellville, KY; sister, Jennifer (Gene) King of Ashland City, TN; sisters-in-law, Janet Hollis of Clarksville, Teresa Seay of Humboldt, TN and many nieces and nephews.
