Jewel V. Suggs Morrison, 79, Clarksville, died Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home with Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and from 10:00 A.M. until hour of service Wednesday at Sykes Funeral Home. Mrs. Morrison was born in Dickson County, TN on May 7, 1930 to the late Boyd and Delma Wall Suggs. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Suggs. She was retired from Jostens Publishing Company and a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, James R. (Bobby) Morrison of Clarksville; daughters, Carolyn (Mike) Younce, Sheila (Greg) Brand both of Clarksville; brother, Joe (Lee) Suggs of Cumberland City; sister Bonnie (Bubba) Garrett of Clarksville; grandchildren, Michelle Newell, Cinnamon Ellsworth, Jason Brand; great-grandchildren, Charlie Newell, Dakota Ellsworth, Jillian Newell and Layne Brand. Pallbearers will be Jason Brand, Greg Brand, Mike Younce, Chuck Newell, Jamie Browning and Steve Claxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 421 New Circle Road, Suite 104, Nashville, TN 37228.
