Jerry Davis Petty, age 68, of Clarksville, TN passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville. Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Petty was born December 3, 1943 in Scottsville, KY to the late James Leon and Illa Mozella Nichols Petty. He was also preceded in death by brothers, LeeRoy Petty and Harold Lewis Petty. He served in the US Marines and was self-employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by son, Jerry D.(Betsy) Petty, Jr. of Clarksville; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Sieglitz; brother, Michael Petty; Sisters, Laverne Tingle, Gayle Bowtell and 4 grandchildren.
