Jerry Edward Koeberl, age 65, of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at his residence. The funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Peters. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Hoskins/Anderson Cemetery. Jerry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War having received the Good Conduct Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Expert M-14 Medal. He was member of the Boilermakers having worked with Walker Process, Inc. and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by sons, Edgar (Pam) of WI, Steven (Kerry) of IL, David (Hiroko) of IL, James (Delisa) of Clarksville; daughter, Kathryn Koeberl of IL; sister, Pat Koeberl of Clarksville and eleven grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 2041 Madison St., Clarksville, TN 37043 or a charity of choice.
